International SOS partners with the Australian Federal and State Governments to provide

- On-the-ground medical services, equipment and supplies.
For the past 17 years we have managed the medical requirements of Australian Government employees travelling and working overseas. From managing a medical or allied health referral to one of our 77,000 accredited providers in our Global Assistance Network, arranging difficult to fill prescriptions, to evacuating staff in medical or security emergencies, consecutive Australian Federal and State Governments have relied upon International SOS to be there for their employees in times of need.
Through the provision of bespoke medical consulting services to Australian Government agencies we have assisted with assessing the various health impacts and needs of sites overseas, provided contingency planning during public health outbreaks, reviewed health and security training policies and programs, and provided accredited first aid and other training to staff located in remote regions.
We also provide medical services, staff, equipment and supplies to Australian Government agencies carrying out onshore and offshore training exercises.
